Okay, so who knows everything about Azure? If you raised your hand and you are not Mark Russinovich, the CTO of Microsoft Azure, I doubt you should have. Most folks don’t realize just how much they don’t know about Azure, myself included. One the best things about the Azure platform is that is constantly evolving and improving, adding new capabilities almost daily. Depending on where you are on your journey with Microsoft Azure, that can also be a bad thing. I often hear from partners who are new to Azure and its many capabilities (and nuances) that they often feel “overwhelmed” or they state “not knowing where to go to get the best information”.
This blog often refers those seeking clarification on Azure related topics to the documentation and blog area of http://azure.microsoft.com.
Or if one needs some training I would likely point you to Microsoft Virtual Academy where one can find hours of up to date Azure training videos in a matter of seconds.
Sometimes though, you wish you had a cheat sheet of great resources on Azure. …The one that you said you would always put together, but never did! Well now you don’t have to put one together. Someone has done that for you! I was surprised myself to find that one of our own Center of Excellence Engineering Consultants, Mark Grimes, has posted a terrific list of shortcuts on all things Azure on the TechNet Blog. I am only sorry it took me so long to find it! Hopefully I save you a little time.
Check it out…..
Mark has identified and listed over 200 pertinent Azure Shortcuts. They are easy to remember and glance through too as all URLs follow the “http://aka.ms/azure/<the thing>” naming convention to quote Mark.
Thank you Mark! I am sure I am not the only one that can and will use this list of shortcuts moving forward.
