CIE facilitators don’t aim to deliver a 3 hour sales presentation—they enable people to explore and discover through an innovative hands-on experience. A CIE facilitator has some key skill sets that make them ideally suited to deliver sessions. Here are some of the qualities that we look for in a CIE facilitator. As you seek to identify the right people in your organization, consider the following qualities:
- Presentation Experience. Facilitators should have experience presenting, demonstrating, and facilitating technology discussions and engagements with business decision-makers and high-profile executives.
- Soft Skills. Personable. Professional. Understanding. Beyond just being a proficient presenter, facilitators need to listen, guide, and inspire.
- Technology Expertise. Prospective facilitators should understand unified communications (UC), collaboration, and Business Intelligence (BI). These topics are extremely visible within the CIE environment and can be leveraged to create “wow” moments for clients. Also, facilitators should stay up to date on the latest and greatest changes coming from Microsoft.
