I used this documentation to setup ASR for VMware based VMs and I had it happily replicating by the next day.

ASR for VMware gives the partner the ability to provide DR capabilities for their customers running workloads on VMware.  In the event of a local failure, the VMware based VMs can be failed over and run within Azure.  Azure even provides automation capabilities for multi-tier workloads to ensure the workloads start in proper order.
