Restricting Access to Office 365

Q: (from Jim)

I have a client going on E3 shortly (small number of users) and that’s been decided.  However, they have asked me if it’s possible to restrict some users to only access Office 365 while at their Office Location, so from one specific identifiable network.  This includes restricting access to the portal, not allowing access to mail from Outlook or OWA, no access to OneDrive for Business, pretty much everything unless they are on the Office Network

I did a Bing search on “restrict access to office 365” and was surprised to find several results including:

The main point to get across is that you have to have an ADFS Identity Management infrastructure for SSO setup in order to restrict access to portals.
