As I mentioned in my Office 365 for Mac and iOS environments blog a few months back, Microsoft planned to release a public beta of the next version of Office for Mac in the first half of 2015. Well I’m happy to report that Office 2016 Mac Preview is now available!
The new Office 2016 for Mac includes updated versions of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote and Outlook. It provides the familiar Office experience you’ve come to know and love, but has been designed from the ground up to take advantage of the latest Mac features, including retina display and full-screen view support. Office 2016 for Mac is also powered by the cloud so you can access your documents on OneDrive, OneDrive for Business and SharePoint at anytime, anywhere and on any device.
The product is currently planned for release sometime later this summer. For more information, please see the Office Blog post here.

And specifically for Microsoft Partners, you can access a Office 2016 for Mac Preview FAQ here which contains answers to common questions partners may have.
I encourage you and your customers to give it a try and let us know your feedback!
