In April when we launched the first version of the Office 365 Plan Selector Tool, Josh Condie covered this tool in detail on his blog post.

With the introduction of the new Office 365 plans for small and midsized businesses, the Office 365 Plan Selector Tool is also updated. This time, instead of providing the tool in Excel format, it is available as an online tool and can be reached at https://aka.ms/o365planselectortool/

For those who are not familiar with the tool;

  • Tool helps all our channel sellers at VARs, LSPs and distributors to decide and recommend the best Office 365 Plan based on customer needs
  • Based on your answers to number of users and 7 key business needs, it gives you recommended plan together with plan highlights and pricing, shows you possible next step up from the recommended plan and also highlights the additional capabilities
  • If you are unsure about the key needs, you can hover your mouse over little question mark next to each line to get additional information
  • Tool also include key links to reference sites such as “Compare All Plans”, “Detailed Feature List” and “Service Descriptions” on the recommended plan page
