You Bought E1. You Want E3. How do you upgrade?

I’ve been working with a bunch of Partners who got their customers all excited about Office 365, but at the time, all their customers seemed to want was Exchange Online.  Those partners were able to show their customers the value of Lync and Sharepoint Online, and for just a couple more bucks per month, they purchased E1.

E3 was an elusive sale because those same customers didn’t feel comfortable using Office “in the cloud” 

However, now they see the light.  That extra $12 per month means installation on 5 devices.  It means always being up to date on the latest version of Office.  It means Office On-Demand.  It means using Office on your Windows Phone, iPhone, and Android Phone.

But what is a customer to do?
