A couple of weeks ago, Brad Anderson (Corporate VP) announced the wave of R2 products that will be arriving on October 18th.

What will be available on the 18th?
- Windows 8.1
- Windows Server 2012 R2
- System Center 2012 R2
- Windows Intune (update)
You can preview the R2 versions of Server and System Center [HERE]!
It’s important to remind you that R2 releases are not free “service packs,” but rather new versions. In order to gain access to R2, your customers will have to have an existing Volume Licensing agreement that includes Software Assurance, or they will need to purchase a NEW license.
