On September 10th, 2012 Microsoft previewed the roadmap for System Center 2012 Configuration Manager Service Pack 1 and the interoperability of Windows Intune and System Center Configuration Manager Console SP1 and Windows Intune. This is extremely useful with Windows 8, Windows RT devices, and Windows Phone 8 coming soon, as you look at the new client management capabilities and vision we’ll be delivering in the coming months. I will cover the System Center 2012 Configuration Manager SP1 updates in my next blog, but wanted to quickly highlight some specific upcoming licensing changes, one of which many partners have been asking for.
