Can Windows Intune be used to upgrade (crossgrade?) from the Mac OS to Windows 7 Enterprise?

I love the term “crossgrade” but unfortunately the answer is “no”. According to the Intune FAQ (https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/windowsintune/faq/default.aspx) in the section titled “Windows 7 Enterprise upgrade benefits”:

“All of your managed PCs covered by Windows Intune may be upgraded to Windows 7 Enterprise as long as the qualifying OS is one of the following business editions of Windows: Business, Professional, Ultimate, or Enterprise.”

I think that’s a great idea to help hybrid PC/Mac organizations to a single, managed operating system.
