Augment your customer conversations with information from the Microsoft Business Hub
If you aren’t subscribing to our Business Insights Newsletter, you may have missed this. We launched this site a couple of months ago and, as you can see, it’s still in beta, but you can use it as a quick reference location for information about our products, news, and offers. If you haven’t explored this site yet, I highly encourage you to do so, I’m sure you’ll find something worthwhile. And it’s focused on the SMB space. Here’s the link to the homepage: Microsoft Business Hub (which you see below).
Just quickly, here’s some highlights of the things you’ll see on this site.
Our Customers – as you might expect, this page had descriptions and links to various customer case study documents and videos
Our Products – as mentioned above, this is an SMB-focused site so the products here are the ones most pertinent to the SMB space, yet, as you see from the drop-down, it’s a pretty comprehensive list. Did you also notice the 50% savings links next to Windows 7 and Office 2010 ?
How to buy – this section helps you quickly get licensing information pertinent to the size of the organization. As you see, you can select licensing options for 1-4 PCs, 5-249 PCs, or 250-500 PCs. This shot shows the options for 5-249 PCs.
Deals & Offers – as the name implies, here’s some quick links to deals and offers. I’ve shown a shot here of page 2 which includes the info around the 50% savings for Windows 7 and Office 2010 mentioned above.
And last, but not least, there’s the News & Updates section – this one needs no explanation, but notice you can sign up for the Business Insights Newsletter here if you’re not already getting it. And the drop-down includes a quick link to Cindy Bates’ SMB Insights blog.
So that’s a quick Tour de force thru the Microsoft Business Hub. Hopefully it’ll provide a quick source of SMB focused information that you can leverage for everything from customer discussions to building your partner business.
Cheers,
Ron
