Dynamics CRM Online–Oh yes we DO !!!

https://articles.moneycentral.msn.com/news/article.aspx?Feed=FOOL&Date=20101110&ID=12380458&Symbol=MSFT - When I read this article I was shocked.

With customers like U.S. Air Force, Sara Lee, HP, Best Buy, and Polaris; Microsoft is one of the leaders in CRM as well.  The strength of Microsoft, not demise, is that we are a Software company and we offer a flexibility in deployment un-paralleled by our competitors.  Yes, as it was stated in the article we do offer “On-Premise” software, but we also offer a “Cloud” offering as well.  In fact the following solutions can be cloud based or on-premise, based on customers needs.

Okay back to the topic at hand - While the current version of Dynamics CRM 4.0 is available both On-Premise and Online in the cloud, Dynamics CRM 2011 is just around the corner.  We are actually launching Dynamics CRM 2011 Online availability first, with all cloud functions having symmetry with the on-premise offering, including Sales, Marketing, Service, Workflow and Business Intelligence.  With Dynamics CRM 2011 you will have Call-Scripting, 300 Workflows, 200 Custom entities, Web Browser access as well as native Outlook client, and full offline capabilities.

What about Pricing:

The self-service credit card price for CRM online is $44 / user / month, but we also offer the ability to purchase thru invoicing and thru volume licensing as well.

When comparing that to Salesforce.com  check out their pricing: https://www.salesforce.com/crm/editions-pricing.jsp?d=70130000000FLyo&internal=true

Contact Manager and Group are easily accomplished by using Outlook 2010 w/BCM - https://office.microsoft.com/en-us/outlook/outlook-2010-with-business-contact-manager-features-and-benefits-HA101808863.aspx

So you can start the “Paid” comparison with Professional at $65.00, which is a decent conversation $44  vs. $65  However as I mentioned we have call scripting in Dynamics CRM 2011 so that takes it to a really compelling conversation of $44 vs. $125.
