Exchange Online Public Folders

We did our first install for Microsoft BPOS. We have an issue with the customer public folders for Exchange. We can not upload these. We were told we need to use Sharepoint. Is BPOS going to support public folders for Exchange later?

It appears neither Exchange Online nor BPOS support Exchange Public folders and the feature does not appear to be on the Office 365 added feature list either. Here is a link to a Microsoft whitepaper that discusses the SharePoint workaround and Public Folder issue considerations.
