I hope that you enjoyed viewing Part 1!  Now let’s turn our attention to Excel 2010 and PowerPoint 2010.

Most people believe that spreadsheets are boring, but with the ability to quickly create dynamic looking tables and print worthy graphs, Excel 2010 can really brighten up your day (or your monitor at the very least).  Why do I say this?  Conditional Formatting.  The key to a successful Excel demo is to show your customers how they are going to save time and make accurate decisions based on their data.  Conditional formatting replaces the “just eyeballing it” or “sorting” methods with better visual tags.  You’ll see what I mean in the video.  Conditional formatting has been in Office since 2007, however I frequently speak to partners who have no clue what it is.  Don’t be one of those partners Smile

After the Excel demo portion, we roll right into the PowerPoint discussion.  There are a number of features in this section that may exist in Office 2007 that we have updated in 2010.  Two new features that I demo are the ability to edit video and the ability to broadcast your slideshows over the web.  You will actually catch the broadcast slideshow portion of the demo in Part 3 due to some upload limitations.

What are some other features/benefits that you demo?
