More on Outlook voting

If you use voting buttons in Outlook 2002 or later without an Exchange Server email account, it turns out that this works just fine as long as you remember to send the message in Rich Text Format (RTF) and the respondents replies in RTF too. Outlook won't do the automated tracking of responses for you so you might want to create a new rule to move all responses into a discrete folder. But it's still a cool feature!

Plus, unlike in the official ballots, voters can also change their vote at any time. Just open the email message that you have already replied to (i.e. voted) and select your new vote from the Actions menu. Now you can be as indecisive as you like!
