Managing saved passwords in Microsoft Edge

In this article I am going to show you how to manage your saved passwords in Microsoft Edge. This is something I am asked about a lot, so I thought I would share the how-to. This method is also handy for clearing saved passwords from Trusted Store Apps (such as the Facebook or Skype apps).

The first thing you want to do, is open start, and search for “Windows Credential” (minus the quotes), and open up the first link showing, which should be something similar to this:

And then simply proceed to open this window. You will be faced with something that will look confusing as anything to you at first – but just understand that there is no confusion to it at all. We will look at this and delete a saved password as an example. Please make sure you have ‘Web Credentials’ selected and not ‘Windows Credentials’.

In this example, we are going to be deleting the Twitter passwords that I have saved. Let’s look at this in more detail:

Please note that you can also view the password, if you press “Show” and verify your credentials, but that is outside the scope of this article.

From here on in, it’s pretty simple: all you have to do is click remove.

And here we are, we have a nice clean list:
