The Future is Bright – The Next Chapter
Steve Smith is the owner of Combined Knowledge in the UK and Mindsharp in the US and has been a SharePoint MVP for the last 9 years, an MCT for 15 years and has recently been made a Microsoft Regional Director. Steve is also the founder of the UK SharePoint User Group now in its 9th year which is the largest active SharePoint User Group in the world with meetings around the UK throughout the year and is free to everyone.
Microsoft has announced a lot of new product updates over the last 2 months at Build and Ignite and in my keynote at Recoder on the 16th of June I will be doing a whirlwind tour of as many of them as possible. These updates includes announcements on the next version of ASP.Net, working with Containers and Nano servers as well as information on Exchange, SQL and SharePoint 2016. A key area of focus was working with the new Office365 API’s and also in the Hybrid space so plenty to talk about. If that wasn’t enough I have got permission to do a live ( Yes LIVE ) demo of the upcoming SharePoint 2016 and discussing some of the new features to be expected in the SharePoint space.
