  • XP End of Life; What it means for you and your business
With all support for Windows XP ending on April 8th this year, many businesses and organisations are facing challenges in maintaining and supporting their existing systems. The fact is, Microsoft are not going to extend this deadline leaving many unprepared for the security and stability problems that lay ahead, and not yet ready for deployment of a more modern and secure operating system. Now 12 years old Windows XP has had a great run, and we all loved it; but now it’s time to move on. In this session we look at what this mean in terms of opportunities and threats to your company or organisation, and how to make the leap to an operating system that will be supported to 2020 and beyond. The end of XP support is a watershed moment that could see many companies ending up in the press… or the dock, but it’s also an opportunity to become our finest IT Hour.
