HMRC save £50m on IE6 Upgrade

compat350x200This recent Computer Weekly article caught our eye in the office the other day. It details how Her Majesty’s Revenue and Customs are set to save £50 million on their IE6 Upgrade, opening the way for further modernisation, including a planned move from Windows XP to Windows 7.

Working with CDG and Browsium, a pilot plan has been put in place to start testing the first 15-20 of the company’s applications in the next few weeks.
