The week that was – 23-27 August

As always, it’s been a busy week for the TechNet blog. If you’ve had a similarly hectic 9-5, this round up might help. Have a great weekend – it’s a long one for us in England, so we’ll be back with you on Tuesday.

On Monday Simon May, aka Porridge Kid, told us what he loves about BPOS for the TechNet Flash newsletter, in Scenarios where BPOS is Brilliant.

Tuesday’s top ten IT skills was a popular post – don’t we all like to know we’ve got what it takes? More top tens coming soon. In fact, if you’ve got any good ideas for topics, let me know.

On Wednesday we brought you some learning snacks and they fit in nicely with today’s Windows 7 e-learning series info. There are lots of options for learning and development that don’t necessitate budget or time out of the office – keep an eye out for next week’s TechNet Flash newsletter where we’ll be going into more detail.

Thursday’s musings were plentiful. If you haven’t seen the Windows 7 Springboard Series, check it out here. We also asked you what you want to see on your UK TechNet blog – I want to make sure you’re getting what you want from us. Availability of Exchange Server SP1 download rounded off our Thursday.

So that brings us to everyone’s favourite day of the week (except for Rafal, our intern, who loves every single day – more about him in a future Microsoft Life post). Check out the latest news from TechEd Europe 2010 – the team’s sending regular updates full of news and offers, so I’ll keep you posted here.

That’s all from me this week. Thanks for reading!
