Microsoft named as 2008 Software Vendor of the Year at CRN Channel Awards

clip_image002I’m delighted to announce that at the CRN Channel Awards last night, Microsoft was named as the winner of the ‘Software Vendor of the Year’ category for the third successive year.  The CRN Channel Awards are amongst the most sought after channel accreditation for IT vendors, system integrators, resellers and distributors.

This award recognises the overall contribution that a vendor makes to business development in the channel, in terms of its product range and development, channel and marketing programmes, and service and support. Our achievement of this for the third successive year was in recognition of the work we do for our partners, underpinned by the Microsoft Partner Programme and supported by exceptionally strong partner testimonials.

We are delighted to have won this award and want to take this opportunity to thank you, our partners, for your support and belief in Microsoft's software.
