Are you getting this error during the initial wizard in AAD Sync?

An unknown error occurred with the Microsoft Online Services Sign-in Assistant. Contact Technical Support.

Open your browser, navigate to the Privacy tab and hit Default.

Afterwards go back to the AAD Sync wizard and try again.
