PDF Files in SharePoint Online

We are pleased to announce that we worked with Adobe to improve access to PDF files. You can now open PDF files directly in Adobe Reader – and the PDF file will remain connected to SharePoint Online. You can also edit and save your changes to SharePoint Online from the desktop.

Vulnerabilities in Microsoft SharePoint Could Allow Elevation of Privilege (2663841) - Microsoft Security Bulletin MS12-011

This security update resolves three privately reported vulnerabilities in Microsoft SharePoint and Microsoft SharePoint Foundation. These vulnerabilities could allow elevation of privilege or information disclosure if a user clicked a specially crafted URL. This security update is rated Important for Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2010 and Microsoft SharePoint Foundation 2010.
