New KB’s

KB940182: The Windows Update Agent version is not inventoried after the hardware inventory runs on Systems Management Server (SMS) 2003 Service Pack 2 or on SMS 2003 Service Pack 3-based clients

https://support.microsoft.com/kb/940182/en-us

KB935898: A problem has been identified in System Center Operations Manager 2007 Web console. The URL view type is not currently supported and this generates an exception when trying to build the Operations Manager tree which contains a URL view type. This way that hotfix resolves the issue is to ignore the exception and to display the following message in place of the view “Unfortunately the “URL” view cannot be displayed.”

https://support.microsoft.com/kb/935898/en-us

KB937470: In Operations Manager 2007, for a Notification Subscription, if user customizes the Alert Criteria by clearing any checked category (such as Performance Collection, Configuration Health, or Performance Health) using the Administration pane in Operations Console, the subscription information in the system gets corrupted. This causes the Alert subscription filter to be applied incorrectly. No alerts for that subscription are generated.

https://support.microsoft.com/kb/937470/en-us

KB935896: A problem has been identified when running timed scripts in an Operations Manager 2007 Management Pack converted from a MOM 2005 Management Pack. When affected by this issue, an agent running the scripts can experience abnormally high memory utilization that may lead to the Operations Manager Agent being restarted.

https://support.microsoft.com/kb/935896/en-us

KB936838: A problem has been identified with agents reporting to multiple Management Groups. The discovery data is not created in any subsequent Management Group once the data is send over to the first Management Group. When affected by this issue, agent discovery data is not available in Management Groups that the agent needs to report to after it having already posted data to a Management Group.  After applying this fix the issue should go away and the agents will start reporting to multiple Management Groups.

https://support.microsoft.com/kb/936838/en-us

KB939799: The Microsoft System Center Operations Manager 2007 agent monitors its processes to make sure that they do not consume too many system resources. When one of its processes does consume too many system resources, the agent tries to restart itself.  Process\Private Bytes; Process\Handle Count.

https://support.microsoft.com/kb/939799/en-us

KB936339: A problem has been identified in the Group Calculation Query Module that affects the population of Windows computers into subnet group in the Network Topology diagram view.  After discovering network routers in Essentials 2007, the Network Topology diagram view in the Monitoring space will be populated with subnet groups that contain network devices, but no Windows-based computers.  After applying this hotfix, computers running Windows will be correctly populated into subnet groups and will appear in the Network Topology diagram view.

KB936481: You cannot install the Microsoft System Center Operations Manager 2007 Reporting feature in a disjointed namespace environment. For example "The specified domain does not exist or cannot be contacted." from the setup log.

https://support.microsoft.com/kb/936481/en-us

KB938505: You use the Reporting Space option in the Japanese version of Microsoft System Center Operations Manager 2007 to view certain reports. However, when you view these reports, you find that the information about a report is not in Japanese. Instead, the report information is in English.  You experience this problem with the reports that appear in the following nodes under Reporting:  Client Monitoring Views Library; Microsoft ODR Report Library.

https://support.microsoft.com/kb/938505/en-us

KB939364: Microsoft System Center Operations Manager 2007 cannot find some network devices by using the network device discovery process. Therefore, you cannot manage these network devices in Operations Manager 2007.  This problem occurs even though the network devices respond to the "GET" packets that the Snmputil.exe tool sends.  This problem occurs because Operations Manager 2007 supports only version 2 of the SNMP protocol (SNMPv2). Devices that do not support SNMPv2 ignore the "GET" packets that Operations Manager sends. Therefore, the network device discovery process cannot detect these devices. For example, this situation occurs when the devices support only version 1 of the SNMP protocol (SNMPv1) or version 3 of the SNMP protocol (SNMPv3).  The Snmputil.exe tool uses both SNMPv1 and SNMPv2. These devices respond to the "GET" packets that the Snmputil.exe tool sends even if the devices support only SNMPv1.

KB937831: The installation of System Center Essentials 2007 fails during the Reporting part of Setup and the following information is logged: "The specified domain does not exist or cannot be contacted"

https://support.microsoft.com/kb/937831/en-us

KB940122: How to use the Microsoft Group Policy Diagnostic Best Practice Analyzer (GPDBPA) tool to collect and to analyze data.

https://support.microsoft.com/kb/940122/en-us

KB941461: How to manually determine the license and sale origin channel information for a software product when the Asset Intelligence reports in SMS 2003 with Service Pack 3 do not report the correct channel information.

https://support.microsoft.com/kb/941461/en-us

KB939872:   Reports that use the v_Add_Remove_Programs view stop responding and cause high CPU use in SMS 2003 SP3.

https://support.microsoft.com/kb/939872/en-us

KB937330: Users may unintentionally start the installation process and lose data after you deploy an SMS 2003 OSD image to client computers.

https://support.microsoft.com/kb/937330/en-us

KB941462: On a computer that has Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager 2007, Microsoft Systems Management Server 2003, or Microsoft Systems Management Server 2.0 installed, a layered window is not displayed in the remote client session.

https://support.microsoft.com/kb/941462/en-us

KB938504: Error message when you try to run the DMInstaller_CE4.2_ARM.exe file on a Windows CE 4.2-based device: "DMInstaller_ce4.2_arm is not a valid Windows CE application"
