ISA 2004 EE: CARP Revisited

Oh, I do CARP on, don't I? Chortle. I'm so funny.

Just a quickie this time: In ISA 2004 Enterprise Edition, CARP is always enabled for array clients using the autoconfiguration script. The clients will attempt to balance themselves across however many servers are in the EE array that they're using, if they're configured using the WPAD (aka Autodiscovery/Get.Routing.Script) mechanism rather than a particular proxy.

In the ISA MMC, when you enable CARP support for a particular ISA network, you're effectively enabling Server-Side CARP for that network, and ISA will internally contact other array members to distribute the load without the client needing to do anything.
