I stumbled on the new look while surfing from their RSS feed, and thought I'd ended up at the wrong site!

I was only recently looking for a way to customize the Ars look to something less white-on-black (and failed), but this blew me away. It's a really fantastic facelift, greatly improves readability. There are old-style Black pages lurking under the shiny new exterior (hit the Subscribe link at the top for an example of how it all used to look), but they'll gradually be going away...

Ars is one of my main sources of well-balanced tech news. Consume their RSS. Do it.
