SQL Server 2008: Security

SQL Server 2008 may be a mature product, but security continues to be an area of deliberate improvement. The new release includes numerous enhancements and new features that can help you improve the overall security of your database environment. You get new encryption and authentication capabilities, a new auditing system to help you report on user behavior and meet regulatory requirements, and policy-based management.
