The Desktop Files: Deploying Windows XP with the WAIK

Despite what we may wish, not everyone is ready to move to Windows Vista and Windows Server 2008 at the same time. Some people, in fact, are still in the middle of long-term deployments of Windows XP. For those of you who read Wes Miller’s column last year about using the Windows Automated Installation Kit (WAIK) to help deploy Windows Vista and are wondering whether you can use it to deploy Windows XP, Wes now tells you what you need to know to get started.
