Windows Confidential: The File System Paradox

We wrap up our November 2007 issue coverage with Raymond Chen's Windows Confidential (last, but most certainly not least.)

This month, Raymond discusses the File System Paradox. His colleague, Adrian Oney explains, "In order to read the boot files off the disk, you need the file system driver, but the file system driver is on the disk, which you can't read until you've loaded the file system driver."

In response, Raymond: "Oh no, Catch-22!"

For the solution, read on in this month's Windows Confidential. For more from Raymond, subscribe to the Raymond Chen RSS feed or surf over to Raymond's blog, The Old New Thing.

Enjoy,
