Exchange Edge Transport Servers at Microsoft, Part 2

In the November issue of TechNet Magazine, Kay Unkroth completes her two-part series looking at the anti-spam and antivirus agents available with Exchange Server 2007 and Forefront Security for Exchange Server.

Last month, Kay demonstrated how to build a lab environment that mimics the messaging protection system used at Microsoft.

In this second installment, Kay explains how to analyze Edge Transport agents by using the agent logging and tracing features of Exchange Server 2007. Kay also illustrates how to apply anti-spam settings to an Edge Transport test lab according to the configuration that Microsoft uses in its own corporate production environment.
