World Teachers' Day

Today is World Teachers' Day (as designated by UNESCO - the United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization). While it may be a bit off-topic for this venue, as the son, nephew, cousin, and friend of many public school teachers, I couldn't help but mention it. I know that I'm very fortunate to be the product of a strong education, thanks almost entirely to the hard work and dedication of teachers like Merliee Horvat, Chuck Favata, Larry Kling, Dennis Matika, Mark Elson, Donald Ernsberger, Prof. Gregory Hughes, and many, many others. Their skill and commitment has enabled my success, and I'm grateful for that.

Hopefully you've had a teacher at some point along the line who has made a positive impact on your life. "That" teacher. The one you always remember. Feel free, if you like, to take a minute today and add a comment here to thank them personally.

Cheers,
-Josh
