Windows Server “Longhorn” Beta 3 is now available as a free download from microsoft.com/getbeta3. “Longhorn” is easily the most exciting version of Windows Server yet, with a huge list of new features including:

*Server Manager – Setup, configure, and manage server roles and features in one place.
*Native UEFI 2.0 support – x64 EFI support for OEMs.
*Read-Only Domain Controller – A new type of domain controller configuration that makes it possible to easily deploy a DC in locations where physical security cannot be guaranteed.
*Windows Deployment Services (WDS): An updated and redesigned version of Remote Installation Services (RIS)
