In the first of what we hope to be several high-quality test lab guides (TLGs) from the community, Microsoft MVP Deb Shinder has published Community Test Lab Guide - Demonstrate Windows Server 2008 R2 VPN Reconnect. In Deb's own words:

  • This community test lab guide will take you through the process of setting up the exciting new VPN Reconnect feature in Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2, which relies on IPsec tunnel mode with IKEv2 to enable a VPN tunnel to remain active even when the client system switches from one access point to another, or Internet service is otherwise temporarily interrupted

Deb's guide takes you step by step through the configuration, showing copious screen shots along the way. This is a very cool variation for modular TLGs.
