New Windows Server 2012 base configuration test lab for public cloud technologies

To enable the use of public cloud technologies, such as Office 365 or Windows Azure, with test lab guide environments, I published the Configuring the Corpnet Subnet of the Base Configuration Test Lab for Public Cloud Technologies. This base configuration uses computers running Windows Server 2008 R2 and Windows 7.

Due to the popularity of Windows Server 2012 and Windows 8, I have published a new Configuring the Windows Server 2012 Base Configuration Test Lab for Public Cloud Technologies. Here is the lab diagram:

Please feel free to use this new base configuration to experiment with and build out test environments that use Office 365 and Windows Azure virtual machines, cloud services, web sites, mobile services, or media services. With the right settings on your proxy server, you can also use this configuration to test scenarios with mobile clients (such as smartphones or tablets) on the Internet.

One key new aspect of this base configuration TLG is that almost the entire configuration is done with Windows PowerShell. These Windows PowerShell commands save a ton of time in getting these three base configuration computers up and running.

Take your Corpnet subnet to the public cloud with the latest versions of Windows.
