Three new Windows Server 2012 Hyper-V guidance articles

Hey TLG buddies,

I have published three new articles that provide Hyper-V configuration guidance for the following test lab environments:

These new articles provide diagrams, steps, and links to detailed procedures so that you can more easily build out these lab environments on a Windows Server 2012 Hyper-V server.

The Apposite Technologies WAN emulator-based Contoso branch office is a very interesting Hyper-V configuration because the Linktropy WAN emulator is a physical device that needs to connect to physical subnets. Here is the conceptual configuration:

To accommodate this combination of physical and virtual components, we virtualize all of the computers and create external virtual switches for the physical Corpnet and Branchnet subnets. Here is the resulting Hyper-V configuration (click on it to see a larger version):

I also updated the Procedures for configuring test labs in Windows Server 2012 Hyper-V article with a new procedure to configure an external virtual switch.

All Hyper-V test lab guidance articles are available from Hosting Test Lab Guide environments in Windows Server 2012 Hyper-V.

Enjoy (physically, virtually, or with a combination thereto)!
