Two new TLGs for SharePoint Server 2013 published

Hey TLG enthusiasts,

The following new TLGs for SharePoint Server 2013 have been published:

Get an introduction to the social features in SharePoint Server 2013 and step-by-step instructions for configuring and then demonstrating My Sites, Newsfeeds, Community Sites, and Team Site feeds. Thanks to my SharePoint writing colleague Hal Zucati!

Get an introduction to forms-based authentication and step-by-step instructions for configuring and then demonstrating forms-based authentication with the built-in LDAP membership provider.

These 2 new TLGs include some new content elements that we are trying out:

  • A short section that describes the technology or feature being configured and demonstrated
  • A short section that describes TLGs for the new user
  • A stack diagram showing the current TLG at the top

Thanks again to Hal, a new TLG writer, for his input on these elements.

I am hoping to add to this stack in the near future, which will help you set up and demonstrate additional key features and scenarios of SharePoint Server 2013.
