The new wave of TLGs for Windows Server "8" Beta!

As I described in this blog post (TLGs: The gathering storm…), I am happy to announce the publication of the first wave of Test Lab Guides (TLGs) for Windows Server “8” Beta!

This new wave of TLG content includes the following:

  • A new Base Configuration TLG using computers running Windows Server “8” Beta or Windows 8 Consumer Preview
  • Multiple modular TLGs that configure and demonstrate features and technologies for Windows Server “8” beta
  • New TLG mini-modules for a basic public key infrastructure (PKI), a Homenet subnet, and another subnet for the Contoso intranet

All of these yummy resources can be found at the new Windows Server “8” Beta Test Lab Guides portal in the TechNet Wiki.

Enjoy in moderation, but by all means enjoy!

Hi Joe. WIth the publication of social.technet.microsoft.com/…/11213.configuring-the-corpnet-subnet-of-the-base-configuration-test-lab-for-public-cloud-technologies.aspx, we are working on an equivalent for Windows Server 2012. Stay tuned…

When will the Test Lab Guide Extension: Connecting the CORPNET subnet to the Internet be available for the Windows Server "8" Beta Test Lab Guides? With the ongoing need to update these servers during the beta, this connectivity is more important than ever.
