Today’s (Cloud) Tip… How to create a RemoteApp template image in Azure

One of the biggest complaints about deploying and upgrading custom RemoteApp images was the need to build the template on-premises and then upload the image into Azure every time you needed to make a change.

We are pleased to announce that you can now use Azure IaaS VMs to create your RemoteApp templates without the need to download or upload the VHDs.

A special gallery image has been added to the portal that we recommend using as your base image since it already meets the RemoteApp template image requirements.
