As of this fall, Microsoft Azure fully supports TRIM. You can see the documentation for TRIM at https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/hh848053(v=vs.85).aspx. The best thing about this is that it means you no longer have to worry about paying for unused storage space in Azure. This has led me to recommend customers always create 1 TB data disks. This means they no longer have to worry about having to figure out how to expand the disk in the future while still only paying for the storage they actually use.
