Tip of the Day: Creating a New Group in Windows 8

Today’s Tip…

If you want to create a new group on the Windows 8 Start screen, simply drag on of your program tiles to the right until a vertical bar appears…

…then drop it.

Now that you have a new group, you can drag and drop any other program tiles you want into it. Then if I want to give the group a name, I can switch to the full tile view, and right click on the group. At that point the ‘Name group’ option will be visible.

Using this option, you can name your group.
