Tip of the Day: The Beginning

For nearly a year I have been the primary author and chief editor of an information sharing alias at Microsoft called ‘Tip of the Day’.  While I have allowed some public facing blogs to consume my tips, I haven’t taken the extra step to create a dedicated blog…until now.

The idea behind TotD harkens back to something I started when I was first hired at Microsoft.  I told myself, “I want to try to learn something new everyday. If I can learn at least one thing today, then I can call the day a success.”

TotD was born of that idea.  The goal is to provide small bits of knowledge that could be consumed quickly, so you can get back to work.

So let this be my ‘test post’ and I’ll start posting actual tips shortly.

Great idea! Reminds me of a "Page-a-Day" calendar.   I get tons of questions about how storage has changed in Windows 8 and Windows Server 2012.  Do you have a Twitter account you use to link to new posts, or just RSS and Email for now?

Just RSS and Email for now.  I plan on adding Twitter at some point but I'm just getting started now.

    Thanks for the comment!
