Microsoft Architect with a PhD in Computer Science and now SQL Server 2008 MCM

We have another very accomplished new SQL Server 2008 Microsoft Certified Master to announce today.  Meet Yasser Abdel Kader:

Yasser Abdel Kader, Microsoft MEA HQ Architect, Microsoft.  Yasser is a Regional Development Architect in the Microsoft Middle East and Africa HQ Team based in Cairo. He has 16 years of experience in the software and information technology industry. Yasser has a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Sheffield, UK in Semi-Structure Database Storage and Query Optimization, a MSc in Engineering Management and a BSc in Computer Engineering (with Honors). He has worked with SQL Server since version 7.0, starting as a database developer and moving to database architecture in large and complex projects in the EMEA region. During his career he also worked as a visual DB Designer in a marine simulator (which he says was quite different than working with relational databases and SQL Server).  Yasser loves travelling and enjoys discovering new places with his wife Rania and his two children (Karim and Noura).

Congratulations Yasser and welcome to the community!
