Springtime bringing in a new SQL 2008 MCM

I have a new SQL MCM 2008 colleague to announce... Heiko Wiesner was part of the original Masters rotation (SQL Ranger “Alpha”) and he just successfully added the 2008 version of SQL MCM to his list of SQL MCM 2005 and SQL MCA 2005 credentials:

Heiko Wiesner, Senior Principal Consultant, Microsoft. Heiko joined Microsoft Services in 1997 as a consultant. Since that time he has been working on infrastructure and development oriented database projects in varying roles. As a project lead he has been responsible for custom development projects and multi vendor infrastructure engagements. As a technical lead he was engaged in topics like transactional replication, performance optimization and high availability solutions utilizing failover clustering and database mirroring. During the last few years Heiko focused on database consolidation. He works on architectures for data center environments where SQL Server functionality can be provided as hosted shared services. Heiko holds a degree in business informatics from the University of Applied Sciences in Lueneburg, Germany. Before he joined Microsoft, Heiko collected working experience in the mainframe and UNIX world and enjoyed data and process modeling with CASE tools.

Congratulations Heiko!
