Welcome – Intro and Techstravaganza

Welcome to “the exchange guy” blog. Name is Adam Farage and I’m an Exchange Premier Field Engineer (PFE) in the NY/NJ region. Now, you might be asking “why would you name your blog ‘The Exchange Guy?’”. Easy, many times when I visit customer sites people cannot remember my name and refer to myself as “the exchange guy”. I would think Adam is an easy name to remember, but what do I know.

I will be updating this time to time with helpful tips/tricks and community events in the NY/NJ region that are related to exchange in some way.

Now with that said we have a free event called “Techstravaganza 2012” which is held out of the MSFT NYC Office (1290 6th Ave, right near Radio City and the D/B/F trains). We will have live demos, lectures and hands on labs.

More info: http://techstravaganza.wordpress.com/

Invite Link: http://techstravganza2012.eventbrite.com/

We will have a track for Exchange, Powershell, Sharepoint and Windows. Ross Smith IV (Principle Program Manager on the Exchange Product Group) will be there presenting, along with an Exchange MVP, another Exchange PFE and myself.

If you can’t make it, I will be posting my slides on here – Exchange 200X to 2010 Migration.
