It’s been a long time and I do apologize for that. I’m a salesperson so the customer always has to come first. Good news is my territory is having an awesome year. Now that I have some breathing room I decided to come to you with a reminder to try out Office Web Apps if you haven’t already done so.
Microsoft Office Web Apps are free online companions to Word, Excel, and PowerPoint that give you the freedom to view, create, and edit documents from a supported Internet browser (Internet Explorer, Firefox, and Safari). To get started you need a Windows Live ID sign up is easy if you don’t already have one. Then get started by following the instructions here.
Lastly, Office 2010 has reached the Release Candidate (RC) stage. This means that the product is essentially feature complete. The RC hasn’t been released publicly but be on the look out because it will be soon. In the meantime you can learn all about Office 2010 at http://office2010.microsoft.com/.
