Viewing lists within SharePoint using datasheet view may cause Internet Explorer to crash when using recent versions of Office 365. The error signature within the Event Viewer Windows Logs > Application will indicate a faulting application: IExplore.exe and faulting module: ucrtbase.dll.
The engineering team has released a fix for this issue in build 16.0.10325.20118 and it's making its way out to users. If you desire the fix now, you may force the update by running the following commands via elevated command prompt:
cd “c:\program files\common files\microsoft shared\clicktorun”
OfficeC2RClient.exe /update user updatetoversion=16.0.10325.20118
