If you think about the phone you were carrying in 2003 and compare it to the phone you carry today, you’ll notice some pretty major improvements. Our expectations from mobile devices have expanded dramatically in the last decade, as advances in technology have given us more and more sophisticated options for pretty much everything, from calendars to photos.
In about a year, we’ll reach the end of support milestone for Windows Server 2003. That means customers need to think about migration as soon as possible and begin evaluating options to move forward. The good news is that like your phone, Windows Server has evolved significantly since 2003. Windows Server 2012 R2 offers enterprise-grade virtualization, along with innovation across storage, networking and compute. And you can look at cloud options as well.
To help you think about the opportunities for innovation when migrating from Windows Server 2003, two of our experts, Microsoft Corporate Vice President Brad Anderson and Microsoft Technical Fellow Mark Russinovich will host our final webinar installment “Success with Hybrid Cloud.”
During this webinar, Brad and Mark will discuss why you need to migrate and how to make it work for you. The webinar will include a Q&A segment. This webinar is coming up on July 17th, so register today.
If you’ve missed the previous two episodes, you can watch them on demand:
