With the launch of Windows Server 2012, we are excited about the great relationship we have with Dell around integration of Windows Server 2012 with Dell’s 12th generation PowerEdge servers.  Together with Dell, we are delivering a powerful portfolio of server and operating system solutions to enable customers to efficiently manage and scale resources.  In addition, Microsoft and Dell are working closely to integrate Windows Server Hyper-V with Dell’s compute, networking and storage hardware to deliver a private cloud infrastructure that enables customers to take advantage of the power of Dell 12G with Windows Server Hyper-V, resulting in simplified virtualization deployment, removal of cost barriers and better application performance through delivery of IT as a service and private cloud.  
 
With Windows Server 2012 Hyper-V, System Center 2012 SP1 and Dell’s 12th generation PowerEdge servers, customers are able to adopt an Enterprise class platform for private cloud that enables datacenter virtualization, end-to-end visibility from application to hardware, dynamic provisioning of elastic capacity, and P2P/P2V workload migration.  Dell’s vStart 50m solution delivers a preconfigured infrastructure for small to mid-sized businesses, as well as enterprise branch offices, which enables customers to quickly deploy a Windows Server 2012 Hyper-V private cloud solution that can support up to 50 virtual machines.  vStart 50m is a Microsoft Private Cloud Fast Track validated solution that’s preconfigured for quick deployment, delivering everything in one package – including a standard Dell rack with PowerEdge servers, PowerConnect switches and EqualLogic storage.
