System Center 2012 – A True Private Cloud Builder

In case you missed it, today Satya Nadella, Microsoft Server & Tools Business president and Brad Anderson, corporate vice president of the Management and Security Division hosted a live webcast, “Transforming IT with Microsoft Private Cloud,” for enterprise IT leaders.  During the event, they discussed opportunities for customers and partners, like you, to drive greater results and gain maximum competitive advantage with the Microsoft private cloud.  As part of the webcast Microsoft announced two key pieces of news:

  • The availability of a release candidate of System Center 2012, which customers can begin using today to build and operate private clouds for the delivery of applications across both private and public cloud platforms.
  • System Center 2012 integrates eight previous products into one solution to simplify purchase, creation and deployment of private clouds with the best economics.

The webcast also highlighted how customers such as T. Rowe Price, Lufthansa Systems, Unilever and Egged are using System Center 2012 today to build private clouds and manage their applications. The move to cloud computing is on and application management will be critical to customer success.
