  1. Tal says:

Will the final release support right to left languages like Arabic and Hebrew?? I don't understand why there is no support for these languages in the new version while Apple's iWork suite support it!

  2. John says:

why the hell there is no support for arabic language

  3. Bob Hyatt says:

No right-to-left script support (Arabic, etc.)?!?!?!

  4. PG says:

Please tell me there will be iCloud integration such as you do with the iOS versions. I really don't want to be forced to use multiple cloud solutions.

  5. BA says:

Where is the Right to Left support? It is really disturbing after such long wait. We have moved a lot of business to Middle East and still cannot use Office.

  6. Hakan says:

    Where is turkish languages???

  7. Joshua Margolin says:

28 years starting in 1986 and there is still no Hebrew support for Office on the Mac while Office on Windows does support it. This is pure anti-semitism (both Israelis and Arabs are semites).

  8. Joshua says:

its is simply anti apple and anti mac

  9. Abu Rakan says:

Add Arabic & Hebrew support, this is not a request.

  10. strange says:

    No Arabic or Hebrew?

Your customers are more important then narrow imagined gains.

  11. mohammad says:

Add Persian to these right-to-left languages. It is a shame that we can not have right-to-left office on OSX.

  12. HAMID ZAKI BAJWA says:

Please make a solution arabic language it is humble request Please Please

  13. Azra Shamim says:

Please enable right to left language support for Arabic and urdu languages please

  14. Global RtLer says:

What a deep-rooted hatred in Microsoft to have left Farsi and other RtL scripts out for so, so many years! While worthy giants such as Firefox and OpenOffice, and many others natively and automatically support RtL scripts, isn't high time for Microsoft
to get off its haughty, ugly discriminating mule to include, support and facilitate writing for hundreds and hundreds of millions of writers of RtL scripts? Maybe with the new CEO, Mr. Satya Nadella, it's high time to review this patent shameful bias; after
all the new CEO well knows quite a few millions in his native land can benefit from lifting the ptotic inorance … then Microsoft humanistic efforts are truly appreciable by those, a billion, who can write a thank-you note in their own scripts to you, Microsoft.

  15. Mohammad Almtab says:

the new Office looks great!, I get there's no right to left writing, but hey. Microsoft atleast should've told us, or even opened a program for developers from all over the world to join & make that functionality possible.

i know that i shouldn't say this & that it's their product, but don't get me wrong, it just hurts. keep up the great Office!

  16. GD says:

    Where is RTL?!

  17. Saqr says:

And it is a SHAME that we have no Arabic support in office for mac in 2015 !

  18. ali says:

  19. free world says:

microsoft and apple are both big racists.

we have to use virtual machine and windows os for bussines
    Microsoft Please

  22. Adib says:

This new version of Office is good. Even if no RtL support is currently included, I think it is a good product. If there is no RtL support, then I use another version like Open Office. Don't complain, just use another office. I like this version.

  23. yousef says:

  32. R Mann says:

No Hebrew or Arabic?? Microsoft RACISM

  33. hamed gaafar says:

    the office nor support arabic

  34. omri says:

    So much waiting for nothing…
I have been a loyal Microsoft fan despite getting no RTL and Hebrew support in the previous versions, thinking "in the next version there's gotta be RTL support, that's just too basic to ignore!"
Guess I was wrong… And while Microsoft lags behind, Apple adapt their products to support Hebrew and Arabic better with every release. Today, Apple's Pages is offering native Hebrew support which works flawlessly, and I've switched to using it instead of
Word (still not perfect, but on the right track). Microsoft is losing Israel and the Middle East to Apple, especially students like me, which migrate in growing numbers to Mac and have no other choice but Pages. You've been doing it OK on windows for a few
decades now, why is Mac any different? Hopefully you'll come to your senses before this release, it's all Unicode after all…

why the hell don't u add arabic language, why so racist.

  36. Amir says:

There is no good reason to not support Right-To-Left languages in this version. Shame on you!

  37. Ahmad Salah N. Al Sabah says:

    Arabic Support?

  38. mohammad says:

No left-to-right support so far? Microsoft is fading as a giant company. Soon there will be better software.

  39. Chris says:

Adding my voice to those clamoring for right-to-left language support. It makes no sense for MS products to handle RTL so poorly (= not at all) when RTL support is built into the Mac OS. Apple continues to improve its native RTL support while Microsoft’s
Mac unit has always plugged its ears and chanted “I can’t hear you.”

  40. Hebrew says:

Why do make hebrew and arabic users life harder on mac? What do you gain from this?

  41. amin says:

using the preview, at the top right click the face and leave your feedback so Microsoft see it

  42. Aston says:

It's shameful that Microsoft continues to ignore Arabic and Hebrew.

  43. Utomo says:

I try to install the preview. and it automatically instal Indonesian Language as Default. How can I change it to English ?

  44. sedat k. says:

we have turkish support in pc version. What made you think there is no turkish user have mac and wanna use office 2016 in turkish

  45. Yummi says:

Where is the one with Hebrew!?

  46. J. Falconer says:

In the Format menu, there is a Text Direction field, greyed out whether the text is highlighted or not. One hopes this feature will become active very soon. At the moment, all right-to-left languages including Hebrew, Arabic, Syriac, etc. are not supported.
Meanwhile, for Mac users, Mellel is still the best option available for right-to-left word processing.

  47. Vahid says:

The only thing that Iran, Saudi Arabia and Israel citizens agree on, is RTL language support!!! Contribute this little piece to Middle-east peace!
It's shame after 20 years, MS Office still doesn't support RTL on mac…

  48. Abdul Dosary says:

Not having RTL support is so disappointing (Arabic / Hebrew / Persian / Urdu / etc) … can’t believe Microsoft is not interested in those markets.

  49. flaxfield says:

this is why i have no respect for microsoft. literally BILLIONS of people speak languages that require RTL typing and these guys pretend they just don't matter. is it politics? some skewed "financial" consideration? some old stupid "MS vs apple" dick measuring
contes?t or just plain laziness? whichever reason.. there's no excuse for the fact that this day and age microsoft still haven implemented RTL option on mac.

  50. Reinhard H says:

Probably not enough legal copies are sold to justify the amount of work necessary to adapt Office to the MacOS rtl rendering.

  51. Christoph Terhechte says:

Just downloaded Office 2016 for Mac. Simply flabbergasted to find out there's no support for writing in Arabic (or any other RTL script for that matter). It's embarassing! And this is not just an issue with customers in the Middle East or other countries
using Arabic and related scripts. It also concerns mixed-language documents authored anywhere else. Any software engineer today has to deal with RTL languages. It's unbelievable Microsoft still doesn't get this right in 2015. Shameful!

  52. H. Armstrong says:

Microsoft just released new versions of Word, Excel and PowerPoint with RTL support on iPad !! maybe it's a gesture that MS is working on RTL version of Office 2016, I can only hope.

Please MS, this is the first time Jews and Arabs agree on something, please bring RTL support to Office 2016.

  53. Abdulaziz says:

We are looking to support Arabic Language in new update Microsoft Office.

  54. murat says:

    Turkish language ? 🙁
